Ann
Arbor, Michigan –
April 28,
2004 - Online Technologies Corporation (OTC) today
announced it will open a new state of the art 4,922 square foot data
center at City
Center in downtown
Ann
Arbor. The additional space more than
quadruples OTC's data center capacity.
The data center, originally built by Choice One
Communications (OTC:CWON.OB), boasts state of the art security, FM
200 fire protection, Liebert industrial class air conditioning and
humidity control, Liebert backup power system, cabling and
monitoring. Housed in one of the most wired buildings in the area
the data center will be connected to the Internet at optical levels
allowing OTC to offer unparalleled bursting of internet
connectivity.
OTC is opening the data center in response to
market demand and strong sales growth. Ty
Myers, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at OTC
explained "Our market relies on the internet more and more. They are
buying more and more servers. They want a secure, well connected
facility in this area to house those servers and they want it from
the same vendor providing their other internet services." OTC will maintain it's
original data center on Green Court in Ann Arbor as a
redundant facility.
OTC will use the new data center to house
network infrastructure, co-located equipment, dedicated servers and
shared servers. "The
new data center itself is a very competitive co-location
provider. Add to it
OTC's internet marketing, web development and internet consulting
services and we become one of the best single sources for Internet
Solutions in the Great Lakes region," stated Yan Ness, President and
CEO of OTC.
An open house is planned but not yet
scheduled. Individual
tours and business inquires are welcome. For more information contact
